Illinois Quarter Pendant

Item in photos is the exact piece for sale, ready to ship!

Hand cut using a bow drill and a jeweler's saw, I cut away the negative space to make the image pop on this beautiful Illinois quarter pendant. This quarter was issued in one year only, 2003, as a part of the "State Quarters Program".

This piece features a young Abraham Lincoln within the outline of the state. A farm scene and the Chicago skyline appear on the left and to the right of the state’s outline. Twenty-one stars border the coin, signifying Illinois as the 21st state to be admitted into the Union

I solder on a bail that I make from a copper-nickel quarter.

This is a copper-nickel coin. It comes on a free stainless steel ballchain (Size #3).

This pendant measures 25mm in height. The coin is 2mm thick.

Minted in 2003, the Illinois quarter design depicts a young Abraham Lincoln within the outline of the state. A farm scene and the Chicago skyline appear on the left and to the right of the state's outline. The Illinois quarter is the only quarter to directly reference and portray an urban city, with a picture of the Chicago skyline

"The Prairie State," also commonly known as the "Land of Lincoln," pays tribute to our nation's 16th president.
