UK Coin Ring featuring thistles, shamrock and crown
I make this ring from a vintage Two Shilling coin from the United Kingdom. These coins were minted 1947-1948. The year on is particular coin ring is 1947. (Item in photos is exact item for sale).
This ring features thistles (Scotland), shamrock (Ireland), and a crown (England). The coin originally had a Tudor rose in the middle but the center of the coin gets removed during the ring making process although you can still see the leaves from the rose along the band.
The band width is 8mm (about 5/16 inch). The metal composition is copper-nickel.
This band is a solid piece, there is no soldering done. We create a patina on it so that the image pops, but this ring can be polished to super shiny if you prefer.

NOTES ABOUT METAL COMPOSITION:
Most of the skin contact is with the silver (.900) dime band. The main coin contains copper and is unsealed.
