This pendant features Pegasus, the mythological, immortal winged horse in Greek mythology. Pegasus is the offspring of the Olympian god Poseidon and gorgon Medusa. From his birth to his death, Pegasus remained a mysterious creature capable of everything including creating water streams wherever he’d struck his hoof. Pegasus represents attaining ultimate freedom, with no boundaries of time and space. Also symbolizing divine inspiration.
Diameter of the coin is 27mm. This coin weighs .17 ounces. This particular coin is a Greek 10 Drachmai and was minted in one year only, 1973. The metal composition of the coin is copper-nickel.
