Australia - Coin Ring Sterling Silver .925 Vintage 1943 and 1944 Florin Coat of

Sterling Silver (.925) Ring made from a vintage 1 Florin coin from Australia.  We have 1 from 1943 and another from 1944 available.
These coins were minted in Sterling Silver (.925) from 1938-1945 only.

The outside of the band is quite stunning.  It shows a kangaroo on one side and an emu on the other (native Australian animals as seen on their Coat of Arms).  They chose these 2 animals to be on their coat of arms because neither animal can walk backwards easily - symbolizing the idea of a nation moving forward.

This band is a solid piece, there is no soldering done.  We create a patina on it so that the image pops, but this ring can be polished to super shiny if you prefer.

The ring weighs .33 ounces.  The band width is 9mm (12/32 inch).  The thickness of the band is about 1mm.

Free custom sizing when you place your order (see available sizes).

Comes in a small ring box in a hand-stamped bag.  We also print out an info and care sheet about this particular piece.
