Celtic style Bird hand cut Pendant vintage bronze Irish coin, set on sterling si
I make this pendant out of three coins: the main design was hand-cut from a vintage, Irish twopence (bronze). This is a Celtic style bird inspired by illustrations from the Book of Kells. These coins were in circulation 1971-1988. This is soldered onto a sheet of sterling silver (.925) with a dark patina on the front to contrast with the bronze image. It has been stamped on the backside with another coin featuring a Celtic harp. The bail is made out of a silver (.900) US dime. Any skin contact with this ring will be with silver (.900).
Contact us if you have any other special requests.
Hand cut using a bow drill and a jeweler's saw.
Comes with a free stainless steel ballchain (Size #3).
The coin diameter is 26mm with the silver dime bail the height of the pendant is about 33mm.
The coin is 2mm thick.
